With this summer's special exhibition,
Diversity of Line: Works in Pen and Ink from the Collection (May
30 through September 7, 1998), visitors can experience an entire gallery
devoted to works in pen and ink from the museum's extensive collection of
drawings by more than 40 artists. Featuring; over 100 drawings done from
the early 1860s to the present, the exhibition demonstrates the remarkable
versatility of this medium.
