Birds in Art 1998
The newest recipient of the Museum's
Master Wildlife Artist Award will discuss his painting style and techniques,
the broad range of his animal subjects, and the multi-layered interpretations
found in his work at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12. Quinn, a participant
in fifteen previous Birds in Art outings, hails from Point Reyes Station,
California. He earned a B.F.A. from the Art Center College of Design, Pasadena.
He is represented in the collections of the Woodson Art Museum; Monterey
Bay Aquarium, Monterey, California; and the National Museum of Wildlife
Art, Jackson, Wyoming.
