Publishing and archiving digitized brochures and catalogs
From time to time we provide grants for museum exhibits of American representational art aligned with our topics. Frequently, inclusion of online exhibit brochures and catalogs are associated with exhibition grants.
Museums may wish to digitize and make permanently available - without charge - brochures and catalogs previously unavailable online. We may be willing to contribute to this effort.
We welcome your letter of inquiry. In your letter please include:
-- out of pocket costs of the project (staff time excluded)
-- details about the catalog or brochure
-- available metrics about website viewership
-- how the catalog contents align with our topics
-- assurance that the material will be freely available on a permanent basis
-- history of online publication
We are cautious about grants for this purpose because over time we have found that many catalogs and brochures vanish from online availability.
See Online Exhibition Catalogues, Brochures, Gallery Guides and Related Materials for our sampling of related materials.
